Rick Ross isn’t feeling Gillie Da Kid‘s assessment of Kendrick Lamar‘s diss track. Gillie examined the track after its release on Tuesday (April 30). He took to Instagram to deem “Euphoria” “corny.” The former rapper disliked the track and declared that Drake was up in the battle. “I just heard that Kendrick Lamar diss. I f**k with Kendrick, but that shit was corn on the cob, man,” Gillie expressed. “You know what’s crazy? The light-skinned ni**as is winning, man. Three to nothing. F**king Drake up two to nothing.”
As he continued, Gillie also stated that Chris Brown was winning in the beef with Quavo. “Motherf**king Chris Brown up one to nothing,” he added. Rick Ross caught wind of Gillies’ comments and shot back at his rival for hating. “H*e’s hurt haaaa,” Ross typed.
But the response isn’t random. In fact, Gillie and Rick Ross have a bit of history together. In 2022, Gillie clowned Ross for purchasing cows for his farm. The Philadelphia native joked on the rapper for becoming a caricature of himself on social media. He also ribbed on Rick’s past as a correctional officer.
“These old ni**as, they don’t hear the roar of the crowd no more and they still think the roar gon’ come back, so they be on Instagram and they be on social media doing dumb sh*t,” he said. “‘I just bought a cow!’ Why the f**k would you buy a cow for?”
He went on, “You know I was gonna bake you, ni**a. I seen you in them comments, ni**a. You know I was gonna bake your goofy a**. F**k wrong with you? Don’t ever comment on nothing about me, ni**a, when you used to be a C.O., ni**a. When you used to lock ni**as like Wallo in the cell, ni**a. You know I was gonna bake your dumb a**.”
Rick Ross shot back at Gillie on IG, claiming that he needs to take care of his kids and not worry about his life. He then proceeded to show off his farm and his inanimate bear named, Lulu.
“Fellas, fellas… let me give you the real game. When I spend more money on my cow than you do on your wife and kids every month, you should take notes,” he rebutted. “But more importantly, meet my bear. This my bear. I named my bear Lulu. That’s Lulu, y’all. Toast to the biggest!”
